PocketMVP over Beta. Need help with installations.

What is the difference between PocketMVP and BetaPlayer which is as I read on Downloads (Highly recommends this over PocketMVP). I'm pretty sure someone has asked but, I'm new at this and of course confused. I have yet to install a program or anything on my x30H because I have no idea how. Don't understand about the ".cab". Perhaps someone can help this real live newbie?

I have a brand new never used x30, it just has the programs it came with in the package...minimal ones. Thanks.

Thank Jogga, I have that link but I wasn't sure if this sticky included x30H. Thanks for replying so quickly :) Perhaps someone will jump in about the first question. I don't understand the things about cab, etc. It seems that has to do with the installation of many programs...I am a whiz when it comes to PCs, but I am lost with the pocket pcs. Thanks a bunch.
