Very confused...

For some reason Office 2002 is no longer working on my computer, but I want to be able to backup and sync my info from the Axim. Is there any other programs that will allow me to do that?

I bought my Axim X30 used and I have found that the learning curve is very high. I was really hoping for a simple solution to a pda.

To sync and backup data from your Axim you need Activesync rather than Office.

If you use or feel like using Thunderbird, I believe you can sync to that though it requires a different program from Activesycn (and costs money).

If you still want to use Outlook, do you happen to have the companion CD that came with the x30? If so, you should be able to reinstall Outlook 2002 from there.

Lastly, to backup data, Activesync can do it, but don't forget that there is also the built-in backup utility on the x30 itself (though you probably need a memory card to use it).
