New user of dell axim x30. Have 2 low end and 1 med.
This site saved me. I got a spanish x30 on ebay, thinking it would easy to change to english, but the Dell update wouldnt do it.:( I searched the dell forum and they basically said it was impossible. Here, I found the magic button procedure, and had trouble at first, but eventually got it. Two clarifications: I didnt have to hold in the power button, and the volume wheel should be pushed IN, not up or down. The procedure worked fine. The dell forum was useless!
One thing I have already experienced is a broken screen. You can get replacement screens from Hong Kong (about $36 total), and if you can work with the small hardware, it is not too bad to replace the screen.
