WIFI connected, VNC possible but NO IE or Messenger

With my X30 Second edition i made a wifi conection to the access point from work which is free.



I'm able to ping other computers, to access their files or to have a VNC connection BUT

there when i try to navigate with the browser no pages are shown. The same happens also

with the MSN messenger or trying to update the spb wheather data.



The network card is configured, the connection also set to WORK, power management is disabled.

I even checked with cirond at it says that it is connected, the internet is checked and ready to use.



Does anybody has some ideas?

This i quite frustraiting.... i've read allot of forums but till now i wasnt able to figure it out.

Try changing the two drop down boxes from WORK to internet, that sometimes fixes it.

Looks like you haven't got DNS (also called name server) configured.
(It's the system making hostname translations to IP numbers (www.aximsite.com -> 75.125.136.82))

Already tried everything in the guide.
DNS is configured. I tried also with the ip numbers
in the browser but still no luck.

this is so so frustrating.

ah... after 2 days... i've discovered although the network is not encrypted, that i needed to set up the proxy.
now it's working:)

to bad the axim line is dead :(
