Just starting to use my old x30, don't have any software, how do I jump start?
I want to start to use my x30 again, it has been a while. Can't remember how to download programs on it. I don't have activesync on my new vista computer, so what do I do now? Where can I relearn how to use it? I would love to watch a movie, youtube, use a new software, and use a new internet browser like Opera, but I don't know how to download anything in my x30 right now. I tried to download directly but it didn't work.

Thank a million if you still read from this forum! My x30 is just as good as new right now, just the battery is a little down.

A good place to start is to read the stickies in the Newbie Forum.

To connect to your Vista machine you will need to install Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC), which you can download from here.

Once you have read those threads you will be better able to ask specific questions about the things you need.

That should be enough to get you started.
