x30 not able to read SD cards

I've 2 SD cards that my x30 can't read. AFAIK it can't read any SD cards.
They're not SDHC
They can be read by the PC and by an XDA2
The SD card isn't showing in the My device view
Hard and soft resets have been tried with no luck.

ROM version seems to be version 0

Any suggestions about what might be wrong are appriciated

What capacity do each of the cards have? And what are their brands just for the sake of knowing?
