A Cheap LCD/Digitizer Supplier?

Has anyone bought parts from globaldirectparts.com? They have the LCD/Digitizer for the X30 listed for $36.00 which is the best price I've seen for it. I've somehow managed to crack two screens this year. First time I just got a replacement X30 from Amazon 'cause cheapest screen I saw was the PDAParts one. Now the screen on my replacement Axim broke leaving me with two damaged PDAs.

Well, I found out their normal price is $36 each for 3 screens. By e-mailing them I was able to order a single screen for $39.60 though. Still a lot better then I've seen elsewhere. Will have to see how well the screen works.

Keep in mind their screens are normally sold as 3 packs I think. To buy just one you could try e-mailing them. (That's what I did, they changed the Axim page just so I could buy one screen at a slightly higher price then changed it back after.)

Global direct shipped it on 30Dec08, should receive today or tomorrow. Taking a while to get here, but other then that, if it works it will be worth it!

Hi, Well done, I replaced my LCD and digitiser, only to have broken the thin plastic locking tab that holds the larger ribbon cable snug. Any one else? Any solutions? I can wedge it in loose but it falls out.

Did you have a case when this happened? Just curious, I have a case for my x30 and wondered how it stood up.
