Would you buy the X3 even though it doesn't have a CF slot?

For on thing, I think other than more accessories connected at once, you could have more storage. A Compact Flash 256 card, and a 256 Secure Digital Card.

for me it is a must have. but for others who will buy the x3, it probably isn't. that's the whole point of the x3, it's target market is slightly different than the x5. if you want wi-fi, CF, and SD, you'll have to wait for another axim.

dell just needs to make an ultimate model, like an x7 with everything in it for less than the other companies are doing it (which is what dell is good at). then they would completely change the market and the industry.

a must have all right, for me at least since i have so many cards. However i think it will do great against many of the new small ipaqs that have only sd as well since it will still be cheap and have wi fi

one of the main reasons i chose the axim is because of the CF slot

I could live without a CF slot (I'd had to buy a SD GPS receiver though) only if this unit had 2 SD slots. That way I could use one slot for storage, and the other slot for anything else (GPS, Bluetooth, Ethernet, etc). Since this unit only has one SD slot, the X3 is useless to me.
