Problem syncing with outlook express!

I have pulled my X30 out of retirement and want to get it up and running for my wife. For some reason I can't get Outlook Express email to Sync. IT used to work just fine.

Other stuff seems to sync OK including Outlook contacts, calendar, tasks etc.

One thing that is odd is that when the Axim is in the cradle, and I hit "send and receive" from outlook express on my PC it causes an error - a logon dialog box pops up "please enter your user name and password for the following server". It is pre-populated with her email account details. I hit OK and it keeps coming back.

PC -> Dell Dimension 4600
OS -> Windows XP home edition SP3

To the best of my knowledge, Axims won't sync with Outlook Express, only full Outlook.
