GPS issues

So there's no integrated blue tooth which means if I wanted to be able to save maps to my sd card and use a bluetooth gps, looks like it's just not happening. Well I was thinking about upgrading my X5 to X3. But if this is the case and there's no solution to this I'm going to keep my X5.

I'm not sure that going from an X5 to an X3 is an upgrade.

Until somebody comes out with a SD GPS card with storage onboard, it looks like using the X3 as a handheld GPS is going to be pretty difficult (unless you store your maps in memory).

Yeah, reading through the review, it seems like the X3 is supposed to fill the gap of consumers who didn't like the X5, but it isn't an upgrade. I am definately not going to get it. I gots to have my CF slot.

Good now I don't feel that bad that I just got my X5 when the X3 was just coming out.

What about to a wired GPS. Do you still need the pregnant cable to get the serial interface?
