Arrow anti-virus software

Is it really necessary to have virus protection on all of PDAs? I did not realize that it actually can get viruses on PDAs. What is good anti virus program to get for my new X3i? I expect my new X3i to come in few days.

I am glad I have found this site. Quite surprisingly, there are several people in here are from Alabama (Especially for the admin(s)..) that I dont see that very often from other forums. :)

Welcome to Aximsite RollTide79!

As far as anti-virus software goes, I don't think you (or anyone) needs it. There aren't that many PDA virus' floating around.

Now on a personal note, the Tide is gonna get stomped by UT Saturday.:D

Airscanner has anti-virus for PDA's, not sure if it plays well with 2003 yet.

I don't get it. Am I missing something? Or is it just plain stupidity?

The latter wouldn't suprise me.

Ok thanks for answering my question regarding virus protection.

It definitely gonna be one bloody battle between UA and UT this saturday, but I believe Roll ride will win the most bitter battle against you and Vols if we got the same kind of intensity we had against Oklahoma few weeks ago. :)

Well, with the way we played our last two games, I'm gonna have my fingers crossed.

I may be overly cautious but I run Symantec anti-virus for pocket pc. A buddy of mine got a virus on his HP Pocket PC last week. He was out of luck, and had to do a hard reset.

Question

wait, as of a few months ago (well 4-7) those in the know said there were no viruses and doubted the creation of any b/c of the way the ax rom operated is this no longer the case?

The virus that he said he had infected files on his SD card and on his HP. Maybe he didn't have a virus and panicked.
