Using Nyditot ver 3.22
One of our members mentioned that he is using Nyditot to turn his scree side ways, and I am curious on how well it works, and how easy it is to use and setup. Can someone get back and let us know. Thanks

Nyditot ver 3.22 screwed up my x5 with 2002 too. They did send me a file that seem to fix it but after I uninstalled.
I wrote them to see if they have something to make it work on mine, but never get a answer.

Thanks for the heads up, I realy want to turn the screen, but I don't want to pay 59.95 per year or 5.95 per month to use ThunderHawk.

Other than an installation crash (which was likely my fault) and another small removal issue I had, it worked very well on my X3i. Additionally, it worked well on my X5 advanced.

Well call me chicken, I just got this X3i working well on the network, and I am scared of a HARD RESET! I think I will wait until I know the install won't do what it did to you.

I've used the program just fine on my X5 a lot, it's very versatile once you get used to it, what you can do is set an arbitrary resolution, such as 320x266, and then "slide" the image by pressing the stylus in the off-screen reginos along the edges, and this way use horizonal view with the taskbar hidden, followed by simply putting the stylus at the top to reveal it again. this should give you a lot more real estate in a lot of programs. You can go 320x292 as well, and actually hide both the bottom main toolbar, and the taskbar, followed by "sliding" to use one or the other.
Setting to 320x320 also means you can rotate on the fly without having to restart, although there will be some panning involved (depending on the circumstances this can work out well.... Text Maker is the one best suited for it as you can customize the toolbars completely and actually have separate sets for different orientations)

It works really well for landscape orientation. However, whenever I switch back to the standard portrait mode I have to do a soft reset to get the display to scale correctly.
Oh, BTW, I have the X5 Advanced with WM2003.

Which settings do you reccomend? When I set it up to landscape, and loaded the Aximsite, I couldn't see the up and down sliders to go to the bottom of the page. Any ideas?

for those that use it with the X5 and mobile 2003, did you have the problem of aximsite mobile not loading up anymore? and the regular version loads up instead? thats what I had happen twice and not sure why only backup restore or hard reset brang back asm. Uninstalling Nydidot didn't remove the problem..

Did you apply and hacks like RegKing hacks or such? Those can modify IE and make it appear as if it was a desktop version of IE. Aximsite checks what version of IE your running, if its a ppc version, it give you the mobile site, if its normal desktop version, it sends Full Aximsite to you. If youve played with registry hacks, try removing them with the program that did them. If you dont know, or such, I'd try a hard reset install nothing besides drivers, and see what happens.

I have never changed anything on the PPC, nor hacked the registry.

Clean Axim and installed Nyditot only and the IE change was there. What is more, after I removed the software, the IE registry change was still there. I am 100% confident that it was Nyditot and it alone that caused it.

Not the problem, since I did a backup prior to installing, then installed Nyditot. After I removed Nyditot I ran the backup.
