Free Launcher Programs

I'm looking for a launcher program like the one that comes with battery pack 2003 except for free. I havent been able to find any free ones. Does anyone know of any? I could really use one, and most trials run out in 14 days, which get kind of annoying. Thanks a lot

I like Scott Seligman's Launcher and there is also tdLaunch - links to both can be found in the Desktop and Shell downloads section here on Aximsite.

td_kauncher in my opinion is the better of the two that Ikehiker is talking about. I've tried both and td_lancher is the better.

But you need to decide for yourself.

td_Launcher...

is the one I use and it is GREAT! I have two full rows of Icons on my desktop but they are small enough to take up only a small part of the desktop.

For free it can't be beat!!

I'm using cLaunch, and like it pretty well so far.

It lets you put as many icons on the desktop as you have space for, but you also have tabbed indexing so they can be organized, showing only certain ones at a time if you'd rather.

I haven't gotten around to reorganizing/renaming the tabs yet to be as I'd like them, but it looks like it will be fairly straightforward to do.

I've tried them all and find cLaunch by far the best, it's basically tdLaunch + Tabs. Wtih the tabs, I can use a larger icon-size that's easier to click, and take up no more space, becasue I can space out my various items acrsos the tabs. One row of size-24 icons with tabs looks a lot better than two rows of size-16 icons alone, as I had it before. I also have a lot more items under those tabs with cLaunch. In general, my today list has looked better and been easier for me and others to use ever since.

I had trouble with seigelman's launcher in the past, so i tried tdlaunch and so far its working well. I just added cLaunch and think that it might be even better, but i just finished organizing icons for tdlauch and don't feel like messing with another program. They are both still installed so i may end up switching over, but not now.
