X3 Backup Battery Status

What are the different status' that the X3 gives for the backup battery? Mine is at normal now, it came at Very Low. It then went to Low, so so far I have:

Very Low-Low-Normal

Is there anything after Normal?

I've not looked on my X3, but in the past the X5 was flaky on the backup battery status.

the x3's is an internal rechargable battery... so there would be a big difference, i'd expect?

Kind of weird that it would go down and back up like that so soon, maybe after a year or so but this is also because of the not quite accurate meter on the axims

If you want a more precise reading of the charge of the backup battery, take a look at file called SysInfo in Pocket Word. The file is maintained by the system itself and shows the percentage charge of both the main and backup battery.

It's much more precise than the "Very Low", "Low" and "Normal".

Not if they used the same code for the backup battery status module in control panel. Of course, Dell wouldn't just go and use the same algorithm knowing it was faulty before, would they? :p

Mine did the same thing. Easy fix....put it on the cradle to synch/charge with the x3 powered ON. Leave it like that for 4 hours. Problem solved.
