Question ActiveSync/Firewall bug?

New Axim X3i with ActiveSync 3.7. Norton Personal Firewall on WinXP desktop. Here's the problem: When Axim X3i is in cradle and ActiveSync running, cannot load ANY Web pages on desktop.
Same for both IE 6.0 and Mozilla Firebird. Email can be sent and retrieved OK from mail server however. If I disable NPF, then Web surfing works fine. Similarly, if I turn off Axim or disconnect USB connector from desktop PC, everything is fine on desktop. Talked to Dell Tech Support twice yesterday and they stated that there is a known bug in ActiveSync 3.7 that supposedly MS is working on a patch for? Is this true? Anyone else with this glitch?
Otherwise, AximX3i is super.....
