Router: Soyo AS-AWRO3101 (802.11g)
X3i ROM Version: A00(09100300EN)

Having said I didn't experience problems, I just noticed today that I had to rescan/disable/enable the wi-fi due to a lost connection. The double arrows didn't have an X, but I was unable to refresh a webpage (I was sitting practically right next to the router). This is pretty infrequent, but I will keep an eye on it. The other night I purposely kept surfing on my Axim for almost an hour, and the connection was great.

This problem seems to happen to almost half the X3i user. I wonder if Dell knows about this. If people in here are experiencing this type of problems. I wonder how many other thousands are having the same problem. Although my connection is still not 100% stable, it has improved (Providing a DCHP statistic IP on router and disabling the 4x mode on the DI-614+ seems to help).

I don't think we can solve this without the help of someone from DELL to read this thread. Any Dell PDA engineer in here? We just trying to solve the problem.

Question

x2h,

What type of security are you using i.e. MAC filtering, 64 or 128 bit WEP? Are you broadcasting your SSID? Thanks.
