how can i read cf with x3

Is there a way for the x3 to read cf cards? I just wanted to view the pictures on my digi-cam (uses cf cards) with the x3. Is there a SD-CF drive/cable??

I'd probably be easier and cheaper to copy CF files to PC then to SD and onto X3.

I have not seen a CF-card > SD-slot convertor from any of the major I/O adapter manufacturers. Just the other way around (SD-card > CF-slot). With the capabilities of all the newer PDAs that have only an SD slot, I'm sure that someone will eventually make a CF adapter.....or possibly even a 4-in-1 memory adapter of some kind. Just keep in mind that any adapter would stick out of the Axim (or any PDA) really far in order to fit a CF card. So while it would be fine for viewing camera pictures every now and then, it wouldn't be practical (in size at least) for someone who wanted another memory storage option other than SD.

There is a 4 in one reader but it is for the cf slot and only in Japan (saw it in a tech magazine) but i agree with deftech, companies should be making a cf to sd adapter soon

actually the 4-in-1 CF adapter (for CF slots) is easily available in the U.S.....

an adapter for CF cards => SD slots would be nice, but i imagine somewhat fragile....

Yes, the 4-in-1 for the CF slot is available here in the U.S. We have a review of one in the Staff Reviews from quite some time ago. :)

There are actually a few different manufacturers who make them.
