What PDA is your second choice
Hey guys, lets say you got your new AXIM and didn't like it. What would be your second choice out there. An ipaq, tungsten...ect. Has anyone actually switched or any views on the subject. I don't have a PDA right now, but the AXIM looks awesome but seems to have issues, which makes me look strongly at the ipaq series. Just wondering if anyone had any comments or views.

Thanks!

I know you are talking about the X3 here, but I am going to tell you my second choice after my X5. There are a lot of great Pocket PC's out there, but I think my second choice would have to be the iPaq 2215.

My second choice would be to spend the extra $80 for an HP 4150. A coworker got one the same time I got my X3i so we're always comparing. I love my Ax, but there is no denying the slim form factor of the 4150. Plus it has bluetooth, which would give me an excuse to buy bluetooth compatible devices I don't need, with money I don't have ;-)

My second choice would probably be the iPaq 2215 as well. It has dual expansion, an Intel 400mhz processor, and built-in Bluetooth as well. The iPaq 4150 and 4450 are great PDAs, but their price is a little too high.

most likely the 2215....but I've been known to change my mind every day. So, if I had answered this question tomorrow, it would probably be something esle

If I were an X3 user, the 2215 would be a great second choice, especially with the CF slot, but being an X3i user, I would need the built-in wireless of the 4150.

I would go with the hp 2215 or the toshiba 805 4" screen one. Probably the hp bc of their good history of customer service (I'm a former Jornada 520 owner and have experienced it first hand, VERY GOOD). The toshiba would be nice if it weren't for my genio e550g experience (toshiba/audiovox opted not to offer the wm 2003 upgrade). Both have cf and sd slots (probably the most important feature of any pocket pc, at least to me right now).
