axim connection

I am trying to connect my x3i to a cisco wireless access point, which is part of a corporate LAN.

the Axim knows that the ap is there as it can see teh ssid, and the Ap knows that the axim is there as you can see the connection from the admin. that is as far as it goes

I have put the WEP authentication into the setup and have setup a lwireless laptop that works off the same access point. I am now lost as i can't find any concise infomation as to how to go by connecting to a LAN
