Video bitrate & resolution limits on Axim X3i?

I am getting on X3i in the mail on the 22nd and want to start getting movie ready to play on it.

I have tons of movies and a 128MB SD card for now to put them on. Just a few questions because i see the X3i gets very good benchmarks in the graphics department compared to other models out there.

1. What is the best resolution and bitrate to put my movies at to fit a 2 hour movie on my card?

2. If space was not a concern, how high of resolution and bitrate could i make the video at before i get under a unwatchable framerate?

3. I am going to network my X3i to my PC wirelessly so i can access files from it and stuff. How fast is the data flow to download a song or movie over to my X3i?

Thankz guys

1. Axim screen resolution is 240 pixels high and 320 pixels wide, movies should be made in 320 width and 240 height as most movie players can filp the image 90 degrees and it looks better that way.

2. A good bitrate for me has been 244 kb/s. Go ahead and try higher ones if you want.

3. X3i's use Wifi which is clocked at 11 Megabits per second, or 1.3 megabytes per second. That IS, if you can get a super-strong signal. It gets slower as your signal quality decreases.

P.S. Im hopefuly getting my X3i for Christmas :P

I've clocked my x3i to download at about 1300-1400 kbps. That's really fast for a pda. But, that was pure downloading, so if your also crunching #'s (or watching porn) - then probably see a few hundred kbps less.

^^^ Sweet, thanz man, that is great news to here. I made some little device last night to direct all my wireless power in one direction and now i get 100% signal strength where i used to get 81% :D I love how the X3i has so much graphics power compared to most PDAs out there, makes for a much more enjoyable eperience for a noob at this stuff.

Nothin special at all, just some foil and card board :D

Behind me about 30-40ft away through 3 walls is my WET54G getting 100% signal. The foil help block the signal from going behind it and push the signal stronger towards the camera.

It looks kinda tacky back there but it is mostly hidden and every ounce of strength i can get out of my wireless is great because i use
GameShark Media Player on my PS2 to play movies and MP3 to my HDTV and sound system. My PS2 connects wirelessly to my PC and my PC create shared directories in which my PS2 can access and play them on my TV. I have lots of bandwidth travling through my wireless network.

This will help out alot for my X3i when i get it.
