X3i Wi-Fi acting weird since day 1

How-D,
2 things with my wifi..

1) Sometimes when I turn it on, it tells me all networks are available (this is impossible because some of the networks are in different zip codes) And it even connects to a network that is not near where I am at. For example: I am in Florida, at my house is 'Me' Network, and 10 miles away is 'You' network. It will connect to 'You' network. Of course I am unable to get online when it does this.

2) When a network is available and I try and connect it will go to "connecting" then say available again. Sometimes I have to try and connect 5 or more times before it actually connects...

Is this a problem with my X3i or are these common? Thanks for the help..

Happens to me - unlocked networks available, but nothing really coming of it.

I think its just down to use not being able to use it properly - some little thing I keep missing.

It's a common problem with the X3. Had the same problems with my home network until i let my Linuxrouter do the DHCP stuff. After that i was able to connect without problems. Maybe try to use a fixed IP.

Is there not just simple box i can clik on the pre-installed axim software?
