SD Card Woes
Ok, I had a prior thread that I asked about people's axim's not reading sd cards properly on low power. I've fixed my problem and here's how...
I have 2 SD cards... A 128 Kingston (Taiwan) from E-Cost.com and a 128 IMPACT by Lexar (Japan) from Wal-Mart. I recieved them both about the same time and wanted one strictly for games. I chose the Kingston seeing how it was more expensive and I assumed it was superior. It handled all my games at full battery and while charging but would not handle my larger games like EQ 3, Monopoly, Ages of Empire, and Warfare Inc. when my battery was below 70%... This was very frustrating!
I decided to transfer all my files onto the pc, format my card, transfer my stuff back to the Kingston (Taiwan). Same problem occurred and I was pissed off!
I went ahead and tried the 128 IMPACT by Lexar (Japan). First I formatted it like the other one with resco file explorer (just for precaution). Then I transfered the files onto it from my PC, drained my battery around 30%, and was able to play ALL my games down to the last drop of power!
I guess I'll use my Kingston one for what the IMPACT one was used for before this happened... music files and little things.
