Install Problems; Removing Program Problems

Anyone notice after installing a program that it sometimes creates 2 icons?

Also, in the "Programs" screen (start - programs) even after you have unistalled, and soft reset the icons are still there?

Anyone know how to fix this?

I have noticed this with certain programs as well. You can just delete the icons. To do so open File Explorer or any equivalent app. Navigate to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs. Look for the program icon and remove it.

What about after you unistall the program? It sometimes still leaves an icon (though not the original icon, just a box sort of looking thing.)

Haven't run into that issue but you still should be able to use the same procedure to remove anything under Start Menu\programs.
