some questions about x3i features

Hi@all,

I'm planning to buy a new PDA and thought about the Axim X3i. I would like to have acouple of features and I just wanna make sure it is possible with the x3i if neccessary with additional progs to do the following things:

- ablility to stream videos from the internet and from a local hard drive connected per WAN (which formats are supported?)
- open and edit word and exel xp files
- instant messing (aim and icq)
- using of an availible network printer (I know it is not possible directy form pocket word and exel but perhaps with other progs)
-are the availible progs for pocket pc 2003 running on the x3i or are problems known?

yea, thats about it. Would be nice if someone could help me out. Oh, and two more questions:

- where can i get images from all availible cases for the x3i offered by dell?
-can i reasonable write documents with the integrated possibilities or shall i better buy the external keybord?

My X3i works great for all that you listed except printing, which I have yet to try. I am about to purchase the external keyboard but it is possible to write without it.

Thx 4 ur help now Im going to buy it.

I do all of the things you want ecept istant messaging and use HP mobile printing (Free to download from HP )to print over my wireless network to a laserjet. For streaming I use WMedia player.
I dont have a problem with WM2003 programs.
I dont write large tombs om my X3i but what I do write in word I do using the stylus with autocomplete set to 2 letters.

I can vouge for the AIM working excellently. Here in the USA, the pocketpc AIM download is something like 20 bucks...don't waste your money, though. You can get the UK version for free from someplace else on this site. Works just fine!
