Cut and paste to calendar

Is there a way to cut and paste to calendar from notes or tasks, or do I need a separate program?
I'm running the standard calendar that comes with the X3.

There is a way...you just need to highlight whatever text you want to transfer and then hold down with the stylus until you get a drop-down menu. Then choose 'copy'. Close the notes or task application and then open the calendar. In calendar, if you are on a certain day (using the day view) simply hold the stylus in the open space until you get a menu again. Press 'paste' and the text will show up as an appointment. You can then open the pasted appointment and change details if you need. Within Tasks you will have to go to the individual task screen before copying the text. I hope this helps...in short, any text that you can highlight and copy can be transfered into calendar as a separate appointment or within an existing one if you edit and then paste it in 'notes' for example. I hope this answers the question.

I must be doing something wrong, it does'nt work for me, any more suggestions or is it just operator?
Some real wierd things happened like a memo showing up on the home page but not on the calendar.
Please help.

Is this still a question? Sorry I hadn't revisited it for so long...hopefully you got things figured out. It still seems to work for me.

Yes it's still a problem. I found that when I pasted, the item would show up on the today screen but would not be on the calender. Sometimes I even got a different item on the today screen it was really wierd. Any other suggestions or am I just doing something dumb?
