How to Find the x3i through WiFi Network from Computer?

Hi,

Does anyone know how I can 'see' my Axim through my computer via the WiFi Network? I am running XP-Pro. I do not want to enable shared anything on my computer so the Axim can see me, but rather I want to access the Axim. Is there a way I could see it as a network share?

the only way i can access my axim through the network is from active sync... u goto explore when its connected and wallaaa ur in... but other than that im not sure if you can :-[

Do you mean see accuall today screen on your PC or just the files in your pda?

If you connect through active sync you can then open up my computer on your desktop and at the bottom you should see mobile device, click on it and you are now inside your axim seeing all its files. Are you able to delete and copy and paste stuff as you please.

Only peers that have file sharing enabled will show up when you are browsing the network. Since (AFAIK) there is no way to share your files, you won't be able to see your Axim listed when browsing your network
