Pocket warrior / pocket winc

I am new to this wifi experience. I do a lot of travelling, both here and abroad, is it imperative that I have a wifi sniffer application on my axim. If so, which one.

Thanks

Kevin

The Axim comes with the Dell WLAN utility for sniffing access points and I think there's a basic version of Netstumbler for ARM too.

Check under Start->Settings->Connections for the dell util - I found 3 open and one closed AP's out in the park the other day even though our AP onyl made it to about 200' from the house.

Cheers - Neil.

If you are looking for the sniffer in order to connect to public wi-fi hotspots, you don't need an application like pocketwarrior or pocket winc. WM2003 will inform you when an access point is available and ask for the WEP key if it needs it.
