Greetings and Salutations,

Been browsing this forum reading reviews and comments for a few weeks now. Thought that I would finally make my first post into this wonderful community. I had ordered my X3i LATE Sunday night (early Monday morning) and, as Im sure most of you were the same way, was quite anxious to receive it.

I know there has been other threads about this subject (and believe me I have read them all!) but there are some circumstances that are different.

I ordered it Sunday night, and untill Tuesday morning, the Dell tracking site reported nothing. Tuesday the 24th of Feb. the Dell tracking site showed that on the 24th it had revceived the order and produced the product on the 24th as well. Dell tracking site says that it shipped on the 25th. I got the standard Purolator shipping on my X3i.

I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, just wondering how long others in Canada have waited to receive their X3's.

Well.. dont know if it's gonna be the same for you, but I checked the tracking site several times a day.. days passed and it was still on the 'it's being produced and packed' step.

Then one day it displayed a whole lot of more stats and I had the day after. I think it took about 7 days from when I ordered it and got it.

Dell's shipping generally works like this:

If you get any email confirmation, it will probably say your order has been delayed until sometime in October of any random year (even last year!!).

Now.....QUICK!!!.........get up and answer the doorbell before the delivery guy leaves you a pick-up slip!!!

Man Im thinking of skipping work to wait for this. Make the time go by much faster.

W00ter, the application, production and shipping as listed on the Dell tracking site was all done in 1 day (the 24th) so Im guessing thats a good sign. I hear thats where the biggest hold up is in terms of orders. Purolator then picked up the shipment on the 25th at 11:03am eastern time.

Im just wondering if there is anyone out there that would have a good estimate on how long it will take to ship from the closest US Dell Warehouse (which Im sure is what they do, and where its comming from judging from the Purolator online tracking. Also, if anyone knows where its comming from that might help get me a better time estimate.) to Winipeg Canada. Wanna see how long I have to gnash my teeth in anxst waiting for this device!

yeah...i got mine within 4-5 days after i ordered it pretty much...i had the 3-5 day free shipping too...but i also live in Austin where dell is located...but it shipped out from dallas so i got it the next day it shipped and had to pay tax, which sucked....anyways, i ordered on a Tues and got it that Friday...but i really didnt get a tracking number until after i received it hehe

Any people in Canada out there that have had their orders shipped from the US?

I'm in Toronto, ON. From my experience, all the order placed thru Dell.ca is being fulfilled by their warehouses in the US (Texas). My order took about 5-10 business days upon the arrival of the confirmation email. Btw, you won't to worry about custom & duties, Purolator will be handling all that for Dell. No extra charges..! :)

I ordered mine on a late evening and got it two days later. They gave me free two day shipping. I ordered through SB.
