Start Menu Problem

When I go to Start----->Settings---->Menus, to check or uncheck a application, I have duplicates there. I have two that say Total Commander and two that say TodayPlus Config. I can't find any place I have two entries for these programs. How do I remove the extra entries?

You should be able to remove one of them in File Explorer.

Using File Explorer go to \Windows\Start Menu.

Delete the duplicate.

It is not in the windows start menu, that is the first place I looked.

Yes I have view all files checked.

Tap both to see if both shortcuts are opening the program, if one does and the other does not delete the one that does not. If both do it should not matter which one you delete.

I like to use total commander file explorer to check the path of the shortcut.

I think I downloaded total commander from Handango.

I found out that there was a damaged file, a softreset fixed the problem. thanks for all your help.

Glad I was able to think of anything to do, in an attempt to solve the problem, as I have used your tips and help a great deal here and at TP
