japanese language

hi im looking for software that will allow me to take notes in japanese, software that can recognize and display japanese fonts? also im looking for suggestions on a japanese dictionary and a kanji dictionary. should i just buy a japanese pocket pc?

I find JWPce to be a great freeware Japanese word processor. It's outstanding on the PC, and it seems to be every bit as good on the handheld. It comes with a good dictionary and some great kanji lookup features. Also available from the same guy is JFC, a very useful Japanese flashcard program.

I don't know the link off the top of my head, but do a Google for JWPce and it should be one of the first links.
