Question Synchronizing question

I have a specific folder on my hard-drive where I keep all my data/documents that I work right out of. I was wondering if ActiveSync can sync to that specific folder and also put it onto my Compact Flash instead of Main Memory. If not, what 3rd party apps are there that can do such a thing?

I'm actually curious about the same thing... the "files" sync that comes with ActiveSync only seems to support sync'ing to Main Memory, which is lame.

I'd like to sync to/from a folder on my SD card. That'd be much more useful.

If you figure out how to do it let me know ;)

That makes three people with the same problem.I recently bought my Aximx51 so I can sync my documents with my laptop. My documents size was too big for the pocket pc's memory so I bought a compact flash card and found out that i couldnt sync with it. I called dell support to see if they could help me with my problem but they told me that I couldnt do that with the programs that they gave me.But they told me that I could download a program to do so on this site.If someone has some info on this feel free to share. Thanks in advance for any information.

Active sync to the storage card

Hi,
I wanted to do the same thing and found a method.
Switch on the desk top and connect the Dell Axim X30 Cradle.
Place the Dell Axim X30 on its cradle.
Let the Active Sync complete synchronization.
Now open 'My computer' on the desktop.
You should find 'mobile device' with its pda icon. double click it.
You should find 'my pocket pc' with its pda icon. double click it.
You will find 'storage card' with a directory icon. double click it.
You will find all the folders in your storage card.
You can open any of these folders, files.
You can create a new folder here.
You can copy your work from the desk top and paste it in to any of the existing folder or to a new folder.
It will open a new window saying that the active sync may modify some files if necessary and show the progress of file transfer.
When it is complete, you can double check that the files are transferred to the storage card on your PDA.

Please let me know if this was helpful.

Regards,

Kishore.
