Ignore My Docs...????

Ok you know ivebeen having trouble with my SD 128 in my MMC reader on my pc...well i put the SD into the axim and searched it(wouldnt even open in the mmc on pc) i found a file called IGNORE MY DOCS,i cant format the sd and i cant access it at all on my pc,whats going on this cost me mucho wonga and it don`t even work .

Thanks bud but i have allready formatted it,it seems when i shut down my pc and reboot i can access the sd card in my mmc once only so i run a format on it then take it out and it shuts my explorer down and my desckto crashes.i have even tryed to delete show my docs from the axim,i can access it but when i delete it does not go

You must create a My Documents Folder in the Root of the Card.......THEN delete the ignore_my_docs File, otherwise the Axim will auomatically recreate the File upon inserting the Card.

Navigate UP to the My Computer Root BEFORE removing the card from the Reader (mmc?).

You could just Close the Explorer Window before removing the card, that would work just as well.

AHAHa!.well i didnt have a clue what you meant but i just simply made a note and saved it onto the SD in the Axim and now all is fine again with the sd card.thanks for directing me on the correct path master"smells like grasshopper my son"

The same crap has happend to my SD crappy sandisc! i hate these things,it dont even fit in my 3650 like an mmc does,ive had nothing but trouble with SanDisc,dont buy em they suck and smell of cheapness.i have done all of the above and nothing,its crashing my descktop everytine i put it in my multicard reader on my pc.........heeeeeeeeeeeelp

AHHHH CMON! guys????...help me...i have done everything in this post to try and fix my sd card and its still crashing my descktop everytime.and when i put it in my axim it crashes that and i have to soft reset eachtime.dam SD cards i hate you i hate you i hate you.

errr.... buy another SD card from someone other than sandisk? sorry, that's my only idea... no clue what could be causing your problems other than that.

I have a my docs folder and still have the ignore my docs which cannot be deleted - but the card SD works fine.

Thanks and i wont buy another sandisc aslong as i live,its MMC for me from now on
