Using an X5 power supply with an X3i

Does anyone know if the X5 power supply will work with an X3i OK. The power supply cord does fit the X3i adaptor, but I haven't plugged the adaptor into the X3i yet. I have an X5 power supply that I would like to use so I have power at home and at work.

The Dell power block for the X5 is identical to the one for the X3i. (I have both, and the model numbers and specs are the same.)

So long as you have the X3i "connector," you can certainly use the X5 power block without concern.
