Promiscious Mode /monitor Mode

i've one question.
I want to buy a Axim X3i. Supports the wlan card which is included the Promiscious Mode or in german Monitor modus?

I think most of them do. There was a product called AirScanner which worked fantastically on PPC2002 but has not been continued on 2003.

There is a product called CEniffer and another one called vxSniffer.


vxSniffer has a trial download from here: http://www.cam.com

If you have an X3i give it a download and a trial. If not then hopefully someone else can - otherwise email the vendor directly and they should be able to confirm.

Either way I suspect you won't have too many problems.
