memory management

Tomorrow I will be receiving a 256mb storage card for my x3i.
Which programs currently stored in RAM can I move to the new card to free up memory for running the apps? Does it matter on the 3xi where apps are run from?

As a rule they'll all work.. There are some exceptions but not many. Typically "today screen" apps perform better from main memory. Everything else can go on storage card.

When the axim is off it cuts power to the storage card, so when you turn it on there is a momentary delay while the card is powered up. This can cause performance issues for some of those today plugins while the card starts.
