The clock is called Wolfclock and was created by Lonewolf design. The best part about this clock is its free. Finally someone who is willing to benefit people without cashing in on the pda trend. I am so impressed with this program I wrote him and asked if I could give him money. The clock is actually quite popular on handango with somewhere around 5000 downloads. Not suprising considering it is hands down the best freeware utility not to mention clock you can download....period. The app runs perfectly on my 3xi. Not one hitch so far.
It wakes up my pda from sleep to sound an
alarm and you can add virtually as many different
alarm times and dates as you want/need. I have my wake up
alarm for work set for a year in advance! (and I could have set it more) The presentation is very crisp and clean. You can change the colors of every thing on the face with numerical color selections (red, green, blue, 0-255) You can change the fonts of every displayed number or word as well. You can even change the brightness through the clock's internal settings. So don't be concerned with the extremely light pastel pink colors on the pictured example. I have mine altered to xp colors and it looks awesome. (Dark Orange and blue)
As far as alarms go you have everything you could ever want. Choices to use WAV, OGG , MOD or even MP3 files. It will even quickly find every single available file you can use when you opt to change the
alarm sound. There are program internal volume controls, timeout setting, ramp setting (which slowly increases the volume of
alarm when it is sounded), and even a setting to set the milliseconds between replay of sound. You can preview each file you choose right there in the settings window. It also has a nap
alarm which is easily set for a certain amount of minutes and will sound once after those minutes expire. You then have the option to turn off all the alarms, just the main
alarm, the nap
alarm, or the snooze so you don't have to mess with deleting and creating new
alarm times and dates.
Wolfclock would be a really good program if that was all it was. But the best is yet to come....Wolfclock also includes an audio player which plays mp3's so when the clock is being used you can listen to whatever kind of music you wish. All you need to do is create a playlist of files you want played using wolfclocks audio player setup and then hit play/save and your set. I believe the max time you can set it for is somewhere around 600 minutes which is plenty for a relaxing music to accompany you to bed. :)
As if that wasn't enough you are able to shuffle background pictures as the program runs. I personally haven't played around with this feature yet because I rather like the plain clean appearance and design of the clock face. Which by the way features both analog and digital readout using very clever design.

Over all I would give this program a straight up 5/5. With so many shotty (at best) programs out there which charge an average of 10 to 15 bucks a pop its refreshing to see a very well designed utility created to function with a focus on quality not income. Whoever created this deserves to be paid unlike a lot of the crap out there. This is definately a program I would spend my hard earned cash on. I strongly recommend you guys to check it out. :D Im happy.... as if you couldn't tell. ;)
