If you are wanting to read appoinment data, contacts, tasks, etc those items are contained in Outlook on your desktop and you can read them there. If however you are wanting to read Word or Excel files you can read them from the directory on your desktop hard drive that is synchronized with your handheld. If you have not changed the name of your handheld, it will be named Pocket_PC My Documents. You cannot read the files directly from the Axim because they are encoded for Pocket Word and Pocket Excel. Word and Excel on the desktop cannot read those formats. This all assumes that you are not storing your files into Built In Storage.

There are several ways:

Pocket Controller, which is great (what I use personally)

Remote Display Control for Pocket PC, which is free

BTW, welcome to Aximsite! :D

You're the best, I've just downloaded Remote Display Control to play with. I have no idea what I'll ever use it for, but it's very clever!
Always learning on this site!
