Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, and Notes will not install

I have a Dell Axim X3, brand new. I tried to install ActiveSync 3.7 on a Dell Dimension running Windows XP, using Outlook 2003. The calendar, contacts, tasks, and notes will not install. I tried a different activesync cd and downloaded the latest version. I even tried a different X3, and cradle. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. Dell Support has NO IDEA. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Under Activesync goto options. Make sure you have the right items checked. Start there.
Can you see your Ax thru Windows Explorer?

Sounds like you're selecting Custom Setup when installing Outlook. If you're definately using the default setup (recommended) try putting the disc back in and go to Custome Setup and select the components that haven't been loaded. That should sort your problem.

Sorry, I misunderstood, I thought that you'd tried a different Ax with the same results. :crooked:
