Worried What battery monitoring program do you guys use?

Free would be a plus...

I tried battery pack pro, but it's a bit too much for what I want (price and feature for that matter)...

I just want something that will sit on my today screen...

Thanks!

I use Syswatch v1.0.1 from ALL-locations.

www.all-locations.com. It gives you a bar in the Today screen with battery left in % and memory usages.

PS- free too

I use TodaysInfo for exactly the same reasons you just stated. Find it here, http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities/todaysinfo.shtml

Free, simple and on the Today Screen...also monitors memory and storage cards.

You've opened a can of worms here.

i use BatMemTime. search the forums for the link.

be aware that most today plugins that say that they estimate time remaining don't work, seemingly its something to do with the Axim thinking its charging on ever power up!! (BatMemTime's Remaining time estimate works great, but don't use the up-time feature it tells lies :-)

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but how do you set up WM2003 to do that?

Thanks:nw:

I use Smallmenu from Tillansoft. It puts a "tappable" battery icon right in the top bar so you don't have to switch to the Today screen to see the battery status, and acts as a task manager and super cascading menu system which can replace the Start menu. I liked the free version so much that I spent the $6.80 for the Plus version. (http://tillanosoft.com/ce/smenu.html)

YMMV, TANSTAAFL, etc.

I was beta testing Pocket Plus 2.0 when you first posted this, and I wasn't able to say anything about the program. Now that it's released, it's my current favorite one. It's not free, but it's a really good program and is worth checking out the demo.

Battery Monitor

I use PocketMon which is a part of Sprite PocketPC Backup. Today plug-in that shows the status of your battery, free space in main memory for programs and data plus free space on SD card.

Works like a champ!!

Hey, there. I did purchase Pocket Plus 2.0, and really loved it. Well, not's for it's battery monitoring program, but everything else except that... Yeah, it's weird, but I find the icons for monitoring a little bit too elaborate with the extend theme, and a bit boring and hard to decipher without the extended themes.

I'm using TodaysInfo for my my battery monitoring program (suggestion from one of the member, thanks!). It's very simple and clean looking program. I like it's color gauges too, very easy to spot.

I also have SpriteBackup on my AX, so I might look into that pocketmon, but so far TodaysInfo is great, plus it compliments my Pocket Plus 2.0 like it's meant to be... :D

thanks guys and gals!

I like WR-Tools ResInfo. It tells memory, battery, and storage. It sits at the bottom in the command bar out of the way. My today screen is too crowded already to put anything else on it. It's worth checking out.

www.wolfgang-rolke.de/

The page is in German, but the program runs in English.

Peace,

Rob Bond
