playing video

I made a 10sec video using a Fuji digital camera. This opens using Media Player on my PC. It states that the file type is 'video clip'.

It will not however open on my AXIM. When I click it I get a message asking me for the OPEN PATH. What is this please?

Thinking that your fora might help I found reference to Pocket MVP and dowloaded that to my AXIM. Video still didn't open.

Any advice please in newbie rather than advanced English

There's not a player on the Axim that can play MJPEG (the format most digital cameras use for video) available yet, although BetaPlayer has it on the list of things that it will support in time, it doesn't yet.

Try PQV 3.0.10. That plays videos made from digicams.

Many thanks Sheepy. At least it wasn't some error that I had committed, which is usually the case.
So I tried to delete the program Pocket MVP. Utter confusion!
When I go to Program Files and try to delete I receive an error message 'Cannot delete 'getfilename' -sharing violation. There then appears a second message that 'Access is denied to Pocket MVP.There are no other programs running.

Approaching this from another angle I went to settings-remove programs. The program appears in the box and, when I press remove, 5 files are listed as ' cannot be removed since they are read only or in use.' No running programs are listed in settings- memory.

Can this program be removed or must it sit on my AXIM forever? Any advice please?

At the risk of boring everyone I also tried to remove Pocket MVP using a trial version of Resco explorer.

It cannot be deleted ' because the process cannot access the files because another process has locked a portion of the file.

Anyway round this please?

Try reinstalling it, then doing a soft reset, and then uninstalling again. Good Luck!

I promise this is my last contribution to this thread and I make it only to prevent other helpful colleagues wasting their time thinking about my problem.

I did a soft reset and Resco then allowed me to delete the files. Not however the icons from the Programs screen where those for Playlist editor and Pocket MVP remain

Were you trying to uninstall the program by deleting the files??? Start--> Settings--> System --> Remove Programs should be able to install most programs cleanly.

If it's just the shortcuts, you can delete them manually. In File Explorer, go to Windows\StartMenu\Programs and delete the entries manually.

Again I am your debt Gigi. You forced me to visit parts of the AXIM that I would not normally have dared to venture into. As far as I can tell, all parts of Pocket MVP are removed. And yet, when I go to Settings-System-Remove Programs the name is still there. But when I click 'remove, the name remains

I have downloaded a trial version of PQV with advice from your Tutorial. It works a treat. Thanks again. Someday I will get the hang of all this
