Test was done after first initial battery charge(12hrs, accually chatged for 18hrs). CPU was set to 200mhz, wifi on, wifi battery saver on, backlight min.
Test was done surfing the web very very heavily through the whole test. Hell it is E3 today and my pc hdd cashed so i did all my stuff from my x3i :) 8+ PIE pages open, loading web pics, refreshing every 30 seconds or less. So it was very intensive.
The following was done with CPU set at 200mhz, volume at half, Backlight off but screen was still on and wifi off. I played 3 MP3s off of my SD card continuously into my stereo system and boy am i sick of these songs now, lol.
90%= 49 mins.
80%= 1hr 46mins.
70%= 3hr 10mins.
60%= 4hr 10mins.
50%= 4hr 53mins.
40%= 6hr 20mins.
30%= 7hr 30mins.
20%= 8hr 41mins.
14%= 9hr 25mins.(sound shut off due to lack of power)
10% = 10hr 10mins
My next test will be video playback test. Hopefully it goes faster then this one :p
**UPDATE 5/12/04**Video Playback Test Results**
The following was done with the CPU set to 400mhz, volume @ half playing through headphones, wifi off, backlight min., and the video was WMV format @ 320x240 resolution, running @ 768kbps for video and 128kbps audio. Video was 40 seconds long played off the SD card set to repeat.
I am going to do further testing but it will take time as the battery doesn't die as fast :p
Will have video playback test, mp3 playback test, video streaming playback test through wifi, mp3 streaming plackback through wifi test and wifi stand by test as soon as possible. All on different settings :) Let me know if there is any specific test you want done/interested in.
BTW, from a dead battery, it takes about 3hrs 30mins to fully charge again. Something i noticed too is that when you charge the dell brand 950mah battery it will turn green even though it isn't fully charged. You can pull it out of charger and plug it back in again a couple seconds later and the light will be orange for probably 20 Minutes until it fully charges again, so you know it isn't fully charged the first it turns green. With the mugen battery, when it turns green it means it is fully charged. You could pull it out and plug it in as many times as you want once green and it will instantly turn green again. So it isn't a x3i problem but More like dell battery problems.
Edit:
While using x3i right now with same settings above but at 400mhz, i am getting even better results so it seems i won't reach full capacity of the battery until 3-5 charges like it days.
Does it have the same form factor as the Dell high cap battery?

The avalanche has already started. It is too late for the pebbles to vote.
Can I asume it fits the charge slot in the cradle?
Yes, it fits in the extra charging slot in the cradle.
Does it have the same form factor as the Dell high cap battery?
Yes it does. It looks to be the same shape and size.
pics?
I will take some later today.
will it fit in the normal cases? What is the cost or web site for ordering
Will if it does later today, battery is charging now.
I got mine off ebay being sold from a guy who owns a web site(forgot name) for $49.99 NIB. On other sites it is being sold for $69.99 and some else is going to selling them on ebay for somewhere inbetween those two prices.
Sorry i couldn't take any pics of it today, i was super busy. Will for sure get them up tomorrow. I did test to see if my X3i fit in the case that comes with the X3i and it does, just alittle tight.
I updated the first post with the results of my MP3 playback test. So check it out. Took all day and i was wishing the battery would die quicker so i could stop having to check on it if the battery had it a certain % yet, lol.

We will be selling them on eBay ($49.99 plus freight) before the end of the day. We've finally got them in. If interested, do a search on eBay for my selling name (MEF38).
HighTymes:
The link you posted is for the battery charger/extender. That doesn't look like the Mugen battery that was on the after5 web site the other day. Clarification on this would be appreciated.
PS THAT BATTERY LOOKS GREAT
