wm2003SE for X3?

So, with the launch of the X30 range. Is Dell going to release wm2003SE for the x3 range?

Any news/rumours/ thoughts?

Cheers,
Paul

This would be very nice. I'm kinda bummed that I missed out on the X30 by buying an X3i, but a free upgrade to SE would make me a little less sore :)

As long as there's an upgrade, I will be happy! Free or not free for that matter!

For X3i users the X30 offers very little or nothing that they don't already have. The only thing that most of us want is the OS upgrade.

For those of us X3i users who don't need bluetooth and are not they type to shell out nearly $400 just to have the latest processor, the X30 is simply a bad investment. It is not that far beyond the X3i. Basically, $400 is too much to pay for something that is little more than an operating system update and a bit of etra processor juice (and how often do you need that with a PDA anyway?).

If Dell were smart they would offer a software upgrade (could be downloadable even) for current X3i users for a nominal fee. It would keep their loyal customers loyal and probably make them more money in the long run as well. All that most of us X3i users want is the OS update; who in their right mind would shell out $400 for the hardware just to get the software?
