Nyditot + big fonts... looks good on 640x480 but what about the actual GUI and IE?

I was hoping to find a solution to this.... For now I'm running the nyditot demo and it looks amazing on my x3, and the default fonts are way too small - using the font fix in nyditot doesn't work. Does anyone know how to set the GUI font bigger? (not just the menu, but the whole OS itself, if possible) - if not at least IE :)

i didnt know that the x3 could go on such a high resoultion? are those screen shots from an x3???? you can use reg king to adjust system font

Thanks for the info,
no the device do not support such high resolutions, but you can use Nyditot to "hack" the display driver to display at such resolution.

Is that from X3i? Damn! I tried the demo of Nyditot before, but my screen looks like crap!!! Are you sure this is using Nyditot and X3???

LoL, no need to scream. yes it is my X3, not i, just using the existing activesync connection to test the browser :)

i am surpriced aximsite didn't bring up their PC version on your x3 at that resolution, it did for me and after i uninstalled nyditot i could never get the mobile site to come up anymore. Is the font readable on this font size? It was very small with me and i never thought to increase font size.

What does your today page look like? I couldn't get mine to display in the 640x480 if i remember correctly. Wisbar didn't like it and i never got a bigger today image so i had big blank section and a little 240x320 section that had my today pic.

that happened to me too with the today screen not fitting itself right... if it workd better, nyditiot would be the answer to anyone waiting for a VGA axim... oh well... btw what program did you use to get the screen shots?? the one i use wont show the extra space when i capture it...

yea... i cant get it do look like that on mine. i believe you that you got it to work... but you must have done a LOT of screwing around with it before you got it that good...

If you think about it. That those screen shots and shrink them down to a 3.5" screen, it won't look that good. Just looks good because he can blow it up big then the screen accually is but once on the accual screen it doesn't look as good. This is my guess.

Yeah. The screen is not that impressive to display the images (remember again, this is a 240x320 device) i only use it :

1.) for big resolution websites
2.) picture viewing

nothing more than that.

And if you really want to see how i brought up those screens - I used nyditot with screenfit (640x480, fit to desktop)

installed the following fonts:
Verdana, Tahoma (which is already in the system), Courier New, Palatino Linotype(or soemthing like that)
