WCESMgr.exe Application Error

I installed Active Sync on my work computer last week and it was working seamlessly.

Today I am unable to launch the application. I encounter the following error message:

"WCESMgr.exe - Application Error

The application failed to initialzie properly (0xc0000142). Click on OK to terminate the application"

Has anyone else seen this? Should I uninstall, then re-install?

Try doing a search here for WCESMgr.exe . You'll find numerous threads with different solutions members have tried. I keep on getting this problem on and off and have found that deleting the partnership and then trying again sometimes helps. Also, as a last resort, a hard reset.
