MS Reader???

Does not work. Is that why Dell left it out of both ROM and the CD? Please advise.

Have you activated? MS Reader shoul dbe fairly straight forward to download. I don't mean to talk down to you but with no more information its not possible to say what your problem is.

I have it working but I think I needed to install it to default - RAM.

I have MS Reader installed to the default value. I store all of my e-books on a number of SD cards and have no trouble working from that set up. Check out the other posts in the E-book forums for a lot of good help and information. If you have a question about MS Reader or any other reader you will probably find that someone else has already asked the question and gotten resolution to it.

No problem. :)
In my case I had it installed on the card on a 1945 before switching to the Axim this week. I assumed the pgm would at least open but I received an OS error saying there was an 'internal error 010'. I'' try a fresh install.

To clarify though , are you people running MS Reader on the X30?

I could only get ms reader to work in ram

Gotta be in RAM to work. No landcape support yet. It even tells you that and let's you switch back to Portrait just by clicking Yes on the popup you get if you try to use it in landscape. Cute touch I think.

Yes, I installed, downloaded from Microsoft, and transferred all my ebooks to a SD card. Words Fine on my x30 High.

I couldn't get it to work from the card. I removed it and then reinstalled in RAM and it's working perfectly.
