Clock won't keep the right time...

I have the X30 mid and have yet to sync it (so I know that the PC clock time is not the issue), but the clock on the PPC will not keep the accurate time.

I set it to the correct time and then the PPC time won't stay accurate. It's almost like it's not keeping time when it is off.

Anyone else having this issue? Or know how to correct?

PS: the PPC hasn't been sync'd yet because I don't have my cradle yet (it was sent by a different carrier and is two days late -- so far -- from the PPC arriving.

Yep, I'm having the same problem. I have turned off the option to update the clock from the synched desktop so that shouldn't be an issue. I have done a time update with vxutil every night and yet the clock is off by two minutes the next night. Pretty flaky.

Doubtful when syncing to an atomic clock.

Check your time zone on your desktp, and axim, make
sure they are the same.

Your axim adjusts to your PC when it sync's, if the time
zones are off, then the time will adjust accordingly

I would say the time zones are off. That is the time zone that is set on your desktop PC (double click on the bottom right hand clock on your desktop) and the one set on your Axim are wrong (Start, settings, system, clock on your Axim). Everytime you activesync the destkop sets your Axim's clock.

Don't just make sure the time zones match, though. On your PC, make sure to check the box to automatically update for daylight savings time. That should fix the problem.

Mr. K do you doubt that the Axim isn't powered by special atomic particles supplied by Dell? How dare you make such a suggestion. I would take it apart and check it with a geiger counter if I wasn't afraid of instant death upon opening the case.
