Okay, I've installed agile messenger, and it works absolutely fine with my msn messenger ID.
My bet? some problem with the msn messenger version released with the Axim x30. {{boggle}}

I think it is already a cab file with an installer. You can open the exe with WINRAR.

I can't get it to work either. Same error message as you guys.
And I'm in the same boat of not being able to sync to install a new program, since my sync cable hasn't arrived yet.
I'm a newbie to PocketPC (longtime palm user). Can I extract the CAB file from the installer, and then send it to a web email account to download on my axim?

Ok I was having the same problem earlier and it is now letting into www.mobile.msn.com and msn messenger. I hope it is working for you all too..

You don't actually see the .cab file. It will be opened directly.
