You can sync with BT but first you need to sync via the cable/cradle or IR.

There are a few ways to sync, but on the PC I enable the BT Serial service and then sync via that.

From the PPC there is an option to sync in the BT wizard.

I had no problems via BT syncing without the initial IR/cradle sync. I have no cradle as well, so I resorted to this method to transfer contacts/calendar information. Works great.

To sync via bluetooth, use the bluetooth manager and it will step you through the procedure. Good luck.

Has anybody else managed to sync with wifi? It works perfect for me on my Axim X 30. Way faster than BT. Just cradled it once.

i synced using wifi too. Wasnt perfect but after fiddleing with active sync settings for a few mins made it perfect. I dont usually sync with wifi anyways, i prefer to charge and sync.

i wonder if its possble to syncronize when connected to the internet in another place.

For my Axim X30 I got a sync cable and a charger only cable. I only use the charger cable now. It makes my Axim mobile enough to let me use it more freely than with the sync cable+recharger.

Exclamation you can "VIRGIN" SYNC with Bluetooth

You DO NOT have to sync first with the cable if you have a BT aneabled PC or Laptop. VIRGIN SYNC with BT is possible. I haven't tried with WIFI, but i don't think it's possible with wireless. this method uses the BT serial PORT, basically a VIRTUAL USB SYNC CABLE!

I've hard resetted three time with my X30 High. the hard resets were because i'm picky with software installs, not because of hardware error or anything. I love my X30 High. Mine didn't come with either the cradle or the cable. I've got a D-Link bluetooth dongle on my HP Laptop. Here's how I did it. GOTO BT manager. Choose NEW. Choose EXPLORE A BLUETOOTH DEVICE. Choose you BT Enable Computer your using. Under SERVICE SELECTION chose BT Serial Port. Choose Finish. You will be taken back to BT Manager. Hit NEW Again. choose ACTIVESYNC via BLUETOOTH. Hit NEXT. HIt NEXT again. Choose BT ENabled Computer. Choose BT SERIAL PORT, not ACTIVESYNC! Hit NEXT. HIT FINISHED! It will try to connet and SYNC!. there you go, virgin SYNC via bluetooth. Make sure you're COM ports are set up right via BT manager on your PC. peace. its worked 3 times for me. i've done it 3 times with my X30 high and my Ipaq 2215.

PEACE! :D
