Cleaning Screen

I got some wet cleaning cloths that say they are for computer screens and contain isopropyl alcohol. Are they safe for my Axim?

I personally would avoid it. If you use them, make sure they are just damp and not 'wet.' Any fluid that gets under the screen will cause severe problems. Do a search on the site for Windex and I think you'll come up with some horror stories. BTW, such damage will not be covered by the warranty.

Page 17 of the X3 owners manual:

Clean the display with a soft, clean cloth and water. Apply the
water to the cloth; then stroke the cloth across the display in one
direction, moving from the top of the display to the bottom.
Remove moisture from the display quickly and keep the display
dry. Long-term exposure to moisture can damage the display. Do
not use a commercial window cleaner to clean your display

I clean my screen the same way as I clean my glasses - by breathing on it and wiping gently with a clean habdkerchief.
