Lost files??

I'm new to Axim and the PocketPC world and have found all your ideas/advice on forums very helpful. Last weekend i bought myself a Axim 30 (mid). Its been fine and i was really pleased with... untill yesterday.

I was looking for programs to install that i might find handy when i decided to try the trial version of SPB Pocket Plus. After i'd install it i found that my program list had no programs i.e. word, excel etc and all my folders containing documents had disappered.

After this i unistalled pocket plus but it standed the same. i then downloaded total commander to look for the missing files. All my programs in the windows dir are there but all the files from 'my docs' have been deleted. The active sync does not work either.

I have no idea what has happened and would value any advise you might have. Have a missed something obvious? Would a hard rest help?

sounds like it could be the incompatible of SD card..

or your axim needs to get serviced..

wait. no programs? erm.. okay. time for hard reset then. it doesn't hurt to try it if you think your axim's all screwed, right?

I think the hard reset will get you back to the fresh mode when you just received your axim for the first time.
